17 Jawans 4 terrorists killed In Militant Attack In Uri J&K :- At least 4 Militants attacked early on Sunday morning an army camp in Uri, Baramulla in north Kashmir.According to the Sources said that intense firing and explosions could be heard at 12th brigade headquarters in Uri.
The attack began at 5.30 am in the morning and militants breached the perimeter fence to enter the camp.
Special forces of Army had airdropped in Uri where the encounter was on.
As per the ANI reported: The Army has sent three choppers from army’s 19 divisional headquarters in Baramulla to Uri.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh postponed his tour to Russia and America in wake of attack on army camp in Uri, J&K.
In a series of tweet, Rajnath said that In the wake of terror attack in Uri and keeping the situation of J&K in mind, I have postponed my visits to Russia and the USA . Spoke to Governor & Chief Minister of J&K regarding the terror attack in Uri. They have informed me of the security situation in the state.

At least 4 to 5 terrorists attacked the Army Brigade’s headquarters in Uri and a massive gun battle is underway.
The entire town has been sealed by the security forces and security on the vital roads connecting Line of Control (LOC) has been beefed up.
As per the reports that the Army has sent three choppers from army’s 19 divisional headquarters in Baramulla to Uri.

Para Commando troops have been airdropped into the conflict zone to fortify the response by the defence.
Intense firing and explosions were heard in the area and the encounter site is nearly 90 kilometers north of Srinagar, J&K.
