The Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer the Telugu cinema “Dictator” released with bang and the movie is doing outstanding business at the overseas also. In its first weekend, the film collected Rs. 13.38 crores in the states including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions.
The film received with the mixed review from the critics followed by positive and negative. Apart from Nandamuri Balakrishnan who is playing lead role in the movie, it is Anjali and Sonal Chauhan who are playing supporting roles in the movie. Nanadamuri Balakrishna’s stardom is enough to fetches audiences in the theatre. But openings of the movie is getting affected as it is clashing with Young tiger NTR’s “Nannaku Prematho” and Nagarjuna’s “Soggade Chinni Nayana” and getting tough competition from the movie.
It is the 99th movie of Balakrishnan and the film has good openings in domestic regions and released in 625 screens in 600 areas. The advance booking of the movie is superb. This has become second highest opener for Balakrishna after Lion movie, but still it is fail to repeat the same success of his own last film “Legend”.
Despite getting tough competition from NTR’s “Nannaku Prematho”in its four days the movie “Dictator” is getting successful run, “Dictator” earned more than Rs. 18 crores and the distributors of the movie earned Rs 13.38 crore movie. The theatrical rights of the movie earned Rs. 22 crores. So almost 60% of the collections till now earn by the movie “Dictator’s”the distributors and the producers.
So the movie can be counted as the hit movie, and in its coming time it will be collecting more. The film is also doing well in US, apart from India; the “Dictator”movie is expected to collect at least Rs 2 crores in its sixth day after its release. So now the film “Dictator” will be declared as a blockbuster hit after collecting Rs. 27 crore in the worldwide box office. But it failed to do well in the out of country it only managed to collect Rs. 80 lakhs in two days compared to the other Pongal released.
