27 Saal UP behaal Sheila attacks Akhilesh govt says UP still stuck in time

Talking about their slogan “27 saal, UP behaal”, Congress chief ministerial candidate Shiela Dikshit has said that the slogan has big impact and the situation of Uttar Pradesh is actually uncertain.

She said that Uttar Pradesh is considered as the biggest state of India, but jobs, infrastructure, development, power supply and facilities to the farmers are concerned.

She told reporters that UP is exactly there, where it was 27 years back. Now the Time has come to provide services to the people so that the state UP can grow and become number one in development in India.

Congress chief ministerial candidate in UP Shiela Dikshit also talked about the rape incident of the state.

She said that I met the raped mother-daughter duo yesterday, and it was so painful to note that such heinous crime takes place in a big state like UP and nobody is aware about such incident.

Criticising the government of Akhilesh Yadav for the uncertain law and order situation, Shiela said that the first priority of any government in the state is to make their citizens feel safe and secure in the state. But the government of Uttar Pradesh is unable to do it.

Asked about her vision for UP, she said that In the last 15 years, Delhi has not only become the best city of India, but one of the best cities of the world.

She said that the party’s effort will be to bring Uttar Pradesh at number 1 or 2 position in India. It will definitely take time, but we will have to plan and work together. Our manifesto will divulge the details.

She added that Our promise is that we will work to put UP at number 1 place as far as development is concerned.

Takes a jibe at BJP, Shiela Dikshit said that BJP people only worship cow, but they don’t protect cows. We should open cowsheds at several places in the state UP for stray cows for their protection. Protecting cow is the duty of everybodyin India.
