The nominations for 62nd Filmfare Best Actor Awards South 2015 announced. The news about the Awards going viral and receiving buzz since 3rd June after official press conference held for the event. The conference was attended by Telugu superstar Venkatish. The editor of Filmfare magazine says that total 350 South Indian movies are competing with each for the “black lady”, including lead actors of those movies respectively.

Times group is honored to present 2015 Award Show. The awards were introduced in 1954, around the films released in 1953. In the same year as the original Filmfare Awards and National Film Awards acknowledged in Tollywood and Kollywood respectively. Gradually Malayalam cinema came in the awards in 1967 and then finally Kannada films recognized in the award from 1970. Each and every industry is given own set of creative awards in annual ceremony. The event held in Chennai and Hyderabad.
