A son killed his 50-year-old father because the father refused to give him Rs 500. This incident happened in Musajhag area here, police said.
The police said that yesterday night, the incident took place in Hathini Mood village in Musajhag area when Irshad (50) was hit by his son Ishaq with an iron rod. The father of Ishaq refused to give him Rs 500 so Ishaq hit his father with an iron rod.
The father of accused – Irshad died on the spot.
Police said that the accused – Ishaq was mentally disturbed and was undergoing treatment in the Bareilly Hospital, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.
