The Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is to attain 1st International Production “Paeched’s” film festival to be held at the Toronto which is the International Film Festival 2015. The upcoming film “Parched” produced by the actor himself and Leena Yadav produced the venture. The actress including Tanishtha Chaterjee, Radhika Apte, Surveen Chawla, Adil Hussain and Lehar Khan playing lead role in the movie.
Ajay Devgn To Attain 1st International Production PARCHED In Toronto Film Festival
It will be world premiere of the film “Parched” which will be held Toronto Film Festival, the actor who rarely attends public events or award shows, will be walking the red carpet of Toronto International Film Festival.
The “Singham” star speaks regarding his presence in the International Film Festival, “It does gonna be the first time for me because usually I stay away from the glitz and madness of any film awards and events”. At the same time he is glad about the acclaim and accolades the movie ‘Parched’ has been receiving.
“I’m excited to attend TIFF because it celebrates world cinema where best of the world’s talent meet, greet and appreciate each other. We always had the belief in Leena’s vision as a writer & director. It’s very heartwarming for me to see my support finally getting the appreciation it deserves”, the movie star added further.
The producer Ajay Devgn speaks about the movie that revolves around four female protagonists and he speak about it, “Parched is about the small battles that women must fight to win the big war. Films like Parched need to be made, seen, and discussed. Then maybe along the way we can correct some of the many wrongs that women have suffered since eternity”.
Ajay Devgn is producing the film under his USA based banner Shivalaya Entertainment, in association with Blue Waters Motion Picture, Airan Consultants.
“Parched” is written by Leena Yadav – Supratik Sen as well she is “captain of the ship”. The film involved an ensemble star cast.
