Kupwara: At least two terrorists were killed by the security forces in an encounter in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter started in the intervening night of July 29-30.
The army foiled infiltration bid in Naugam sector of Kupwara. In this encounter, two soldiers lost their lives, while one got injured in the gunfight.
As many as two AK rifles and one UBGL were seized along with other war-like materials.
The encounter is currently underway.
On 26th July, Indian army killed four terrorist and caught one terrorist alive in Naugam in Kupwara on the occasion of Kargil War Celebration.
This the second infiltration in just within a week. This shows that Pakistant wants to destabilized the Kashmir valley once again.
