Asus is a Taiwanese firm which is driven by innovation and technology has today launched a new handset under their Pegasus Flagship. This handset is named as Pegasus 5000, it is another mid-range handset which is designed especially for Chinese market. This handset is unveiled right after the Pegasus 2 Plus which hit the market in December last year.
Asus Pegasus 5000 Specifications
Talking about the Pegasus 5000 then it looks like the successor of popular Pegasus X002 but when we concentrate on the internal specifications then it bear more similarity towards Pegasus 2 Plus X550. Pegasus 5000 will come in two models; one is going to be the basic model, the other one will be available with slightly upgraded features and specs.
Basic model is priced at the amount of CNY 1,299 which is calculated as $198 while the higher version will be tagged at the amount of CNY 1,799 or about $273. Both the model varies in terms of the storage they provide. Base version comes with 2GB of internal RAM combined with 16GB of memory on board while the other version bears 3GB of internal RAM coupled along with 16GB of on-board storage.
Coming to the specs of the handset then it sports 5.5” FHD Display delivering screen resolution up to 1080X1280p which means that one is definitely going to have a theatre like picture clarity on their smart phone ensuring amazing videos and movie experience. It is further powered by Octa Core processor which is clocked at the clock frequency of 1.3GHz. The processor is based on MediaTek MT6753 chipset.
To assure that one have good camera exposure, it accommodates 13MP of rear shooter which comes along with LED Flash. To click stunning selfies and to have clear video call, there is 5MP of shooter incorporated at the front. It is a dual SIM enabled handset which supports 4G with Cat.
Other standard connectivity features include options like Wifi b/g/n, USB, Bluetooth V4.0 etc. Moreover to insure that the smart phone runs all day long without any glitches, it houses 4850mAh battery which definitely steals the show.
Looking at the features, then we are getting definitely more than any mid-range segment handset. It is little disappointed to see that for now handset will only be available in China. One has to wait to know about the company’s plan on global roll out. It will be available in gracious white and blue colors.
