The 26-year-old, Bhuvneshwar Kumar who picked up the fifer in last Test match has been suffering from back strain, and he is out of Indian test squad. Bhuvneshwar took six overall wickets in the last Test match and also managed to score crucial 23 runs in the second.

The Indian team will miss him, especially after his devastating spell. Although, a replacement has been called up to the squad to replace Bhuvnehswar. Mumbai Ranji team’s pacer Shardul Thakur has been named as a substitute for the Bhuvneshwar Kumar for the final test match.

Shardul has an impressive domestic season for Mumbai team and even, he was earlier in the India squad for the West Indies tour. Shardul did not make his Test debut in West Indies due to an impressive performance from the regular fast bowlers. It is believed that Umesh Yadav will feature in the final match instead of Shardul on the back of experience.

Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the third Indian to get injured between the New Zeland series after KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan.
