Sairat received rave reviews from audiences as well as from the critics and the trade Pandit already declared the film as the blockbuster and being a regional language movie steals the show completely even in the Bollywood dominating market.
It is the first time, when a Marathi movie will be promoted on “The Kapil Sharma Show,” which airs on Sony Entertainment Television. The cast and crew of “Sairat,” will be having a commercially, appearance in order to promote the film.
The Bollywood celebrities and television stars generally promotes their movie on the show, now first time the Marathi actors are all set to dazzle on the comedy show. The director of the movie “Sairat” Nagraj Manjule and actors Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar will be tonight guests on Kapil’s show, and a Marathi daily Loksatta reported, “This will be for the first time actors from the Marathi cinema will appear on Kapil’s show. The “Sairat” team will shoot the special episode on June 5, i.e. Sunday”.
The “Housefull 3” actor Riteish Deshmukh smitten by the movie and he praised the same, no wonder why he compared the box office success of “Sairat” with Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters like “Dhoom 3” and “3 Idiots.”
Regarding it the actor stated that, “Sairat is the first Marathi film to cross Rs 50 crore, and that’s huge! And of what I hear, I am sure it will cross Rs. 75 to 80 crore. To keep things in perspective, when you talk about such figures in Maharashtra and the territory it belongs to, the success of ‘Sairat’ is almost equivalent to a Dhoom 3 or 3 Idiots”.
