With the new supernatural show Brahmarakshas – Jaag Utha Shaitan many talented actors who have been missing from the action so far – Krystle Dsouza, Aham Sharma, Rakshanda Khan, Abhaas Mehta, and Kishwer Merchantt are making their amazing comeback.
The show started with a Aparajita’s (Kishwer Merchantt) Grah Pravesh (welcome after marriage) into her husband’s Haveli (Mansion). The lights go off as she keeps her first foot inside and her mother-in-law gets scared thinking it’s a bad omen. But Aparajita’s husband, who is madly in love with her, ignores it and enters the home with Aparajita.
Aparajita now run into the terrace and the couple goes romantic. The couple has been seen doing romance now but eventually evil face of the Aparajita reveals in which she stated that she married her husband only for his property. On the very day of her marriage, so she pushes her husband from the terrace to kill him and the husband has been attacked by a big Gorilla.
Cut to 20 years later, we are taken to the posh and high-end bungalow where Rishabh’s (Aham Sharma) sister Rakhi’s engagement preparations are going on. Raina (Krystle D’souza), who is Rakhi’s best friend, is there to attain Rakhi’s wedding ceremony. Now Raina and Rishabh bump into each other to developed love-hate relationship.
Ajay’s parents suggest of having a destination wedding at a palace in Kamalpura. Ajay’s father is aware of the history of the place and so he wants to go there to visit the same. He explains to the family that when a dead man’s spirit enters an animal’s body then it becomes Brahamrakshas.
No wonder that Kamalpura is the haunted and infamous place for the unusual way of weddings. In spite of knowing the history, he believes that this is just a story. Rakhi’s mother, Mohini (Rakshanda Khan) gets extremely tensed to know that. Despite Mohini denied Rakhi’s dad to organised the wedding ceremony in that village but still Rakhi’s dad and Sambdhan arranges the wedding ceremony there as they also want to buy the property from the village.
Mohini calls her brother, who is the head of Kamalpura. And her brother asked her that it will be better to sell the cursed property. He asks her to remove all the bridal stuff like vermillion (sindoor), bangles and so on.
It is revealed gradually that Brahmrakhsas is none other than Aparajita’s husband. Because of what happened with him in the past, he has developed a hatred for things related to marriage and any new bride as his new bride actually killed him.
