The National Investigation Agency (NIA) officer Tanzil Ahmed was shot dead at Bijnor district of UP on 3 April by unidentified men. Along with him his wife was also wounded critically.
The Former NIA officer Tanjil Ahmad was investigating the Pathankot terror attack but he was shot dead at Bijnor in UP and the incident took place when the NIA officer and his wife Farzana were returning home from a wedding near UP’s Bijnor town.
Till now, several people have been questioned in connection with the killing of National Investigation Agency (NIA) officer Tanzil Ahmed but no arrest or detention has been made till now according to the police.
He was probing terror cases related to Indian Mujahideen, was shot dead on April 3 by two unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants who also wounded his wife when they were returning home from a wedding near UP’s Bijnor town.
Meanwhile, data of Former NIA officer’s mobile phone, which was damaged in firing, was being examined.
But this has come as a very shocking news that Tanjil Ahmad’s wife who was under the critical medical treatment at All India Institute of medical Sciences (AIIMS) is passed away at 11:30 a.m in morning.
