Overall performance can be expected to be great due to the increased number of examinees. This year more than 13 lakh candidates have enrolled for the CBSE Board Class 10 Examination. Previous year CBSE Board 10th result observed a better performance by girls than boys. While the pass percentage of girls was 97.82%, for boys it was 96.98%. Through, the overall pass percentage was 83.74% but it had declined by nearly 3% from the year 2014. Girls had defeated guys in 2015 with a pass percentage of 88.34% and 79.73%, respectively.
CBSE Board Class 10th Results 2016 date declaration
CBSE Board will announce the CBSE Board Class 10 Result 2016 for the Class 10th examination very soon. Last year, the result was declared in the last week of May (28 May 2015). Taking the preparation of the Board and its reliability into account, the result is expected to release this year around the same time. The candidates who have appeared for the Class 10 examination can find their CBSE Board 10th result 2016 at the official website of the Board.
The examination period of class 10th was from 01st March to 28th March which was successfully conducted. The examination board declared that the checking process of the copies has now completed and the result is to be declared soon.
It is expected that the result will be out around 15th-20th May 2016.
