The Central Government announced the name of 98 cities, who will be India’s “Smart City”. The Central Government Promised to Make 100 Smart Cities in India, Out of 100, 98 Names are Announced. In This List The Most Cities are From Uttar Pradesh 13 Cities. After Announcing The List of 98 Cities Central Minister Mr. Vakaiya Naidu Said That The 2 Remaining Names will Announced After Sometimes These 2 Cities will Belongs to Jammu & Kashmir.
List Of 98 Smart Cities Across India
According to Announcement These 100 Cities will Get 48000 Crore Rupees in Next 5 Years. The Planning is Divided into 2 Phases, In 1st Phase 20 Cities will Formed and Remaining 80 cities will Formed in 2nd Phase. Mr. Naidu also Said That The 4 Cities Which are included Have Population More Then 50 Lakh and In 98 Cities 24 Cities Are capitals. These Smart Cities will be Formed by The Help Of Special Purpose Vehicle(SPV). In This Project The State & Urban Authority will Share 50-50 Partnership.
