The Star Plus most awaited show Chandra Nandini is all set to kick off in the mid of October. This show will revolve around the life of ChandraGupta Maurya, the greatest emperor of India. Rajat Tokas will portray the main lead of Chandragupta Maurya and Shweta Basu will play the role of princess Nandini.
Meanwhile, The promo is out and it has started creating a buzz in the fans. The promo features Shweta Basu and she is seen as glamorous she looks always.
The promo shows the strong character of Nandini and has created thrills and made them excited for the kick off of this show. According to the close sources, this show will replace the ongoing historical drama “Siya Ke Ram” and thus, it will air at 8 PM from Monday to Friday.
Chandra Nandini will have numbers of others superstars of the small screen. The cute Jineeth Rath will play the role of young Chandra Gupta Maurya and Manoj Kolhatkar will portray the role of Chanakya.

Meanwhile, this show will depict the struggles of Chandra Gupta Maurya to become one of the greatest emperors of India and his love story with the Nandini. It is directed by Santaram Verma and is created by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. Balaji Telefilms is producing this show and it will be the second association of Rajak Tokas with Balaji Telefilms in a historical drama.
Well, first promo is out and now the fans are eagerly waiting for the another promo in which Rajak Tokas will be seen.
But this show has come to the disappointment to numbers of the fans because earlier there were huge rumours about the inclusion of Paridhi Sharma in this show. Paridhi Sharma shared the screen with Rajat Tokas in the previous historical drama “Jodha Akbar” and her chemistry with Rajat Tokas has attracted numbers of fans and she became the house favourite of every other house.
Although, there is still no official announcement about whether Paridhi will be the part of this show or not. But, for know, she is not the part of “Chandra Nandini.”
