The answer key of paper 1 of NET 2016 has released and official answer key of NET 2016 will be released in the month of August on the official website of the board.
The Exam of UGC NET 2016 was conducted on 10th July 2016 across the country by CBSE.
About National Eligibility Test(NET): The main objective of NET is to determine the eligibility for college and university level lectureship. It also determine eligibility for award of Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) for Indian citizens to ensure the standards for the candidates in the research and teaching professions. The CBSE conducts the exam of NET on the behalf UGC to determine the eligibility for Indians citizens for Assistant Professor or JRF in both Indian colleges and universities.
NET exam consists of three paper in which total 185 questions out of which candidates have to answered 175 questions. Paper 1 consists 60 questions out of which candidates have to answered 50 questions. The paper 1 has four portion name as Reasoning ability, General Awareness, comprehension and divergent thinking. Paper 2 consists of 50 objective type questions which are all compulsory based on the subject selected by the candidate. Paper 3 of NET consists of 75 objective type questions based on selected subjects.
