“After 1993 Bombay blasts, I decided to bring down the terrorists and anti-national elements, and hence I started leaking out information to India’s intelligence services, ” he said to the special judge, through video conferencing, as an accused of using a fake passport.

1993 Bombay blasts were the first of it’s kind in the world and proved to be very destructive as in a single day 257 were dead and 717 got injured. The man behind this attack is believed to be the terror king Dawood Ibrahim. Rajan said that coordinates were issued by Ibrahim, but the mastermind behind this is ISI (Pakistan’s intelligence service).

Rajan said that “since 1993 I have helped intelligence agencies in the fight against terrorism, once it began there is no way to step back hence cannot reveal my identity. I was issued a passport with name Mohan Kumar as Dawood’s henchmen tried to kill me because they got to know that he is the one who is providing intel to Indian intelligence about 1993 Bombay blasts but this fake passport was prepared when I was not in the country and hence no question of signing on any application form”.

He said his passport was snatched away by Dawood’s men in Dubai, but he somehow managed to reach Malaysia and after that Bangkok where Dawood’s men were again after his life.

Chota Rajan and 3 government officials are facing trial in case of several offenses including cheating, forgery, and criminal conspiracy. All of them are pleased but not guilty and are set under trail.
