Kapil Sharma is entertaining the world with his humor for a long time. After CNWK, his new show The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV gaining popularity with time. The old plus new partners in crime are doing well but it seems like the time of controversies has arrived now. The new partner in crime Rochelle Maria Rao, who plays a role of a nurse.
Rochelle is seen on screens being very tactless and sensuous at the sets of TKSS. From various medical colleges and hospitals in Punjab, people started a protest at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Amritsar and later on even lodged a complaint against Kapil Sharma.
They are also raising slogans against Navjot Singh Siddhu who was BJP’s former Lok Sabha MP from Amritsar who is now a Rajya Sabha member. Raj Bedi, state general secretary, Punjab Nursing Association also said how Siddhu can be a part of a show like this, which sports someone’s profession? He laughs at his jokes that are about the medical profession, even after his wife is a doctor and an MLA of East Amritsar. They are a community and they will not accept an insult hidden in his jokes.
They ostracize this kind of show that makes such vulgar jokes on a profession. Nurses have been substantiated on the show since its beginning.
The nurses lodged their complaint against Kapil Sharma to station house officer (SHO) Gagandeep Singh Pawar at the Majitha Road police station, and he assured them of due action.
Mandeep Kaur, a nursing student, said, This seems very disrespectful and no nurse acts like this in real life. They are a part of a noble profession. Sunita Thakur, a nurse at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, said, The kind of relationship that has been portrayed between a doctor and a nurse on the show is defamatory. Our community opposed the kind of uniform worn by the actor Rochelle Rao, who plays a nurse.
