The Indian cricketer Amit Mishra was arrest for eve-teasing case but today on Tuesday the cricketer got bail. As per reports Mishra was question in a three-hour long interrogation session before his arrest. Regarding the issue, Bengaluru DCP Sandeep Patil already said that “We questioned him for two to two-and-half hours today and then he was arrested”. Sandeep Patil, Bengaluru’s deputy commissioner of police, central division, added further, “He was later granted bail as it’s a bailable offence. We will have to gather more evidence now before we file the charge-sheet against him”.
Amit Mishra Arrested In Assault Case
Reportedly, a lady friend of Amit Mishra alleged about teasing her and misbehaving with her in a hotel. Another report says that eventually she withdraw her case.
Patil said there was no restriction on Mishra playing for India and it is totally depends on the Indian cricket board (BCCI). Recently he played South Africa Vs India series which held few days back.
Till now Mishra, who has played 16 Tests and 31 ODIs for India, and the BCCI was yet to make any comment on the incident.
The first Test between India and South Africa will be played in Mohali from November 5. Mishra is in the squad for the first two Tests.
