The story plot of this movie is like Devara Naadalli is the classic reflection of a society’s reaction during times of adversity. A crude bomb explodes in a small town college on the very day the local MLA and Industries Minister is scheduled for a visit.
Though the explosion itself does little harm, it succeeds in unravelling tales of aspersions that is cast by different sections of the society and how truth remains in complete contradiction with the indictment. Mounting political pressure, communal disharmony and a teenage love story, all come together to highlight the irony that results in this feature film.
Prakash Raj with who Suresha had previously collaborated in the 2011 film Puttakkana Highway, was cast to play a parallel lead in the film alongside Achyuth Kumar, Mandya Ramesh, Sihi Kahi Chandru. Disha Ramesh, the daughter of Mandya Ramesh was signed to play a supporting role, who made her debut in the film alongside Manu Hegde, another debutant.
