According to the close sources, Morgan informed about his decision to his teammates quite a few days back. And, now after Morgan’s official announcement, reports are coming out that his deputy Joss Buttler will lead the England ODI team for the 3 match ODI series against Bangladesh.

Morgan who has represented England and Ireland in two different world cups told media wing that ” In 2010 we played an IPL game in Bangalore, and a bomb went off in the ground. We immediately left and went straight to the airport.Another (instance) was (in) Bangladesh, playing domestic cricket during political elections – where things were incredibly violent.”

Joss Butler is considered to be the big thing in the English Cricket, especially in the shorter format of the Cricket. Meanwhile, This will be the first time when Buttler will lead the England team in an ODI match. But, Morgan did the captaincy of England in a t20 match T20I against Pakistan last year.

Also, the opener of England Alex Hales is in doubt whether to go for the tour or not. Hales is yet to make a decision for touring Bangladesh. On the other side, the England Test skipper Alastair Cook has agreed to tour Bangladesh for test series along with other players like Moeen Ali, Chris Jordan and Johnny Bairstow. And, if Hales and Morgan won’t participate on Bangladesh tour then young guns like Sam Billings and Ben Duckett will board the flight for Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, ECB management has given all the players along with Morgan and Hales to make their final decision on Saturday. Andrew Strauss, the director of ECB also hinted that if the player won’t go in Bangladesh then they will lose their places in the national cricket team.

The English media has criticised Morgan for not touring Bangladesh despite the security clearance by ECB delegates that toured Bangladesh last year for checking the security programs.
