Brad Pitt to star in Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 2 :- In what could be a major casting take over for Ryan Reynolds and Co. A new report says Brad Pitt could be in the running to star in Deadpool 2.
“Sources tell us that in casting Cable, Brad Pitt was eyed to take on the role and interest was seen on both sides.”
The first Deadpool movie was one of the biggest hit of the year.
It made more than $760 million worldwide and propelled the sequel into production.
In October 2016, director Miller departed the project and was replaced by John Wick co-director David Leitch.
Cable is a most famous character for being associated with the X-Men in Marvel comics.
Ron showed interest in playing the character on screen. Star David Harbour auditioned for the part.
It was reported that Oscar-nominee Michael Shannon was in the running as well.
Pitt is interested in playing Cable. The actor recently starred in the World War II spy thriller Allied and is all set set to gear up to both produce and star in a sequel to World War Z.
Deadpool 2 is expected to release in March 2018.
