People who are coming out to watch this movie are saying the mixed word of mouth for it. Also, the direction and production work is looking quite average in this flick. Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s OK Jaanu is doing an average collection at the box office even after the 4 days of release. This flick is still struggling and getting an average response by the people. Source are saying that the movie was also get affected by the international cricket match between India and England in Pune. Also, I think few factors are also responsible for the bad performance of this flick till now and one of them is bad promotion work.
Sources are saying that this flick is going to make good bucks for the makers in upcoming days because people have not a that much new option to watch. On the other hand co-release, “haraamkhor” is a low budget movie which is not going to give the stick competition to the makers. Overall, Ok Jaanu has a clear path from tomorrow at the box office.
4th day Box office collection of the movie-
This flick is running with only 15% occupancy at the box office and collected very average bucks for the makers till now. This movie collected around Rs 4.08 crore on Friday, Rs 4.90 crore on Saturday and 4.82 crores on Sunday. As you can see that Ok Jaanu collected only 13.80 crore total from the very first weekend of release which is quite average for any movie like that.
Also, the makers are expecting the big earnings from the fourth and fifth day of release but this flick ends up on 4.10 Crore from the fourth day of release. According to the sources report, people have not that much hype for this movie as expected by the makers.
This movie is directed by Shaad Ali, story, and screenplay by Mani Ratnam. Also, the flick is produced by Mani Ratnam and Karan Johar under their banners Madras Talkies and Dharma Productions respectively.
