Huawei has recently announced the company’s latest budgeted smart phone with the name Honor 5/ Honor Play 5. For now company has launched this handset in china and one has to wait for its global roll out as company has not divulged any details regarding the same. It is available in three color variants like black, white and gold color variants and will go on sale from 2nd August. It is priced at the tag of 599 Yuan or INR 6,019.

It sports 5” HD IPS Display with 720X1280p screen resolution. It is powered by quad-core processor clocked at the clock frequency of 1.3GHz. Processor is based on MediaTek MT6735P chipset and is combined along with 2GB of RAM. To augment the graphics it also entails Mali-T720 as the GPU unit.
It operates on dated Android 5.1 Lollipop OS but to let the user have unique experience the OS is topped by EMUI 3.1 Lite. Talking about its camera then it carries 8MP shooter at the rear amalgamated along with dual LED Flash. On front it mounts just 2MP of front facing camera which is also mated along with LED flash to click the selfies or to have video calls in the low light conditions.
It bears 16GB of storage on the board which can be further extended up to whopping 128GB via MicroSD card slot, it provides far greater expansion slot in comparison to its contemporaries that manage to deliver storage expansion to just 64GB. It measures 143.8 x 72 x 8.9mm in dimension and weighs just 138grams. Moreover, as we have already mentioned it is available in white, black and gold color variants. It houses 2200mAh battery at the rear which claims to keep the handset working at least for a day.
