IIT Kharagpur: Student Arrested for Hacking Aadhaar Data Via Digital India App! :- As we all know that IIT students are well known for good studies, good job package, and good numbers. Well, but this weekend a news came out which shocked everybody in this world. As per the reports, an IIT student committed hacking on our Indian Government server and leaked a lot of private information about Aadhaar Data Via Digital India App.
Sources are saying that this guy was arrested because he hacked Aadhaar Data and used it for his own benefits. Also, the reports are saying that this guy was doing it for very long times. As per the reports, he was earning very good money from the advertisers by using them on his own website.
IIT Kharagpur Student Arrested
Bengaluru Police Commissioner T Suneel Kumar said on Wednesday that,” As a highly qualified technical expert, Srivastava had a deep interest in developing Android mobile apps. He developed the Aadhaar e-KYC verification mobile application in January 2017 and earned about Rs 40,000 from advertisements.” Also, some reports are saying that the accused accessed UIDAI data through the e-hospital application and its server.
Srivastava was a very good student since the very first day of college. Even he started his own startup called Qarth Technologies. He created this start-up with his own batchmate and Srivastava was employed with Ola and that same company purchased his startup’s e-wallet app called X-pay which was developed by Srivastava and his bath mate during the time of startup.
Now, police are pretty busy in investigating this case. Also, they are saying that this type of crime is very serious because hacking into something which is important for people and government are very serious crime. As per the reports, Srivastava had to pay a lot for his crimes and he could be punished by court very soon.
