He poured the medal to India as it was facing a drought like situation after the women’s doubles pair of G. Jwala and Ashwini Ponnappa won the medal at World Championships in 201. They ended the void of 28 year medal winning condition for India.

The live action will have venue at the Gelora Bung Karno stadium & the prestigious tournament will be live in action to see World’s brilliant players. Srikanth is in his 2nd World Championship so it would be the scarcity of experience that would matter for him & Olympic Bronze Medalist Saina has never progressed beyond the Quarters 5 times.
