The effect of the ongoing tension between the India and Pakistan has forced the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to banned the illegal Indian content on the Pakistani channel.
It is believed that Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority has received several complaints that numbers of the private channels are telecasting the various dramas without permission, Indian talk shows, and reality programs.
PEMRA told media wing that ” we were receiving various complaints regarding the illegal Indian content especially in a time when there is a tense situation going on between India and Pakistan. These complaint has led us to ban the Indian TV shows and others programs from telecasting Indian shows.
PEMRA has asked the various TV Channels to follow this instruction. They further added that Pakistani local channel are only allowed to air 5% of the foreign content and it is believed that the Pakistani channel is relying on Indian, Turkish, American and European’s content.
On the other side, in India Raj Thackeray-led MNS gave the ultimatum to the various Pakistani actors to leave the India by 25th September or they will be forced to leave India.
It is believed that recently, the music concert of Atif Aslam in Banglore was canceled. There are rumors that various numbers of Indian daily shows are telecasted in Pakistan like Sasural Simar Ka, Swaragini, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Naagin. But Kavach is leading the chart for the famous show in Pakistan.
