Recently Intex has listed a smart phone named Aqua Y2 on their official website. Company has mentioned this handset at the tag of Rs 4,490. There are no words on when this handset will be in the reach of the customers but since company has mentioned it on their official website we can expect Intex to make the official announcement pretty soon. It is yet another entry level handset which can compete against the likes Micromax Canvas Juice 2, Lava Iris Fuel 50 etc. As its name suggest it is going to accommodate large battery backup. None of its companion offer smart phone with such large backup at the price of just Rs 4,490.

It is a dual SIM smart phone which supports one normal SIM and other Micro SIM. It sports 4” IPS Display which proffer screen resolution up to 480X800 pixels. It is powered by quad core processor which is clocked at the clock frequency of 1.2GHz. The processor is based on Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset and is coupled along with 512MB of internal RAM. It operates on android Kitkat V4.4.
It incorporates 5MP of rear snapper which is anticipated to deliver decent camera quality and 2MP of front facing camera which can be used for clicking selfies or for video calling. Rear camera will come along with LED Flash to light up the dim conditions. Apart from that it proclaims camera features like scene detection, face recognition, Panorama, geo tagging, best shot, Smile shot, and HDR options etc.
To store all the applications and media storage we get 4GB of internal memory on board which can be further expanded up to 32GB with the help of Micro SD card slot. Talking about the connectivity features, it encompasses Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/EDGE, A-GPS, Micro-USB, Bluetooth etc. It appends sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensors.

This is not the first smart phone by Intex which offer such large battery backup, earlier this year, android market witnessed the launch of Cloud Power+ and Aqua Power + which entails 4000 mAh battery backup.
It measures 126x64x10.5mm and just weighs 133 grams. For now users will get the choice in between the colors like Black, Blue and White colors. For now there is no announcement on when this handset will be available for sale but once it will, we will update it on our website.
