Irrfan Khan Reveals ‘Rare Disease’: Suffering From Neuroendocrine Tumour: Well, as you all may know that past few weeks are very rough for the Indian Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan as he shared that he had something very rare illness. People are making so many assumptions about his illness. Some of them were calling it publicity as e is doing a new movie which is about to release. Overall, now all these assumptions will end because he shared a very serious and emotional note on Twitter and Facebook which is referring that he is going through some really bad time.

As per the reports, the actor Irrfan Khan canceled a film shoot in February 2018 due to his ill health. Also, he shared on Facebook that he is going through a very rear disease but didn’t say anything openly. Now, he opened himself and shared that he was suffering from a neuroendocrine tumor (NET) and was calling time out to focus on his health. This is a very rear disease and below we are going to talk about it.

You may be heard about this disease before or maybe not but it is really a very rear disease. He shared a post on Twitter and said that he’s been diagnosed with NET, a rare tumor that develops from cells of the neuroendocrine system and grows predominantly in the digestive or respiratory tract – lungs, appendix, small intestine, rectum, and pancreas – but can occur in any part of the body.

Some of may be wondering that what is NET? It is a rare tumor that develops from cells of the neuroendocrine system, according to Macmillan Cancer Support UK. People are really not aware of this disease, neuroendocrine system is made up of cells that are similar to nerve cells and make chemical messengers called hormones.  The cause of the tumor isn’t known. Also, it could be noncancerous (benign) or cancerous (malignant).

You should know that it is very rare disease. Apple founder Steve Jobs died from a NET on his pancreas in 2011. Overall, it is a huge problem and the solution of it isn’t out right now. You can say that the affected patient with this daisies can only avoid alcoholic and spicy food to not trigger it.
