The last match of CPL was played between the two heavy loaded side, Guyana Amazon Warrior, and the Jamaica Tallawahs.

The toss was won by the Guyana Amazon Warrior’s captain Martin Guptill and he asked the Chris Gayle’s led side Jamaica Tallawahs to bat first.

The opening pair of Chris Gayle and the Chadwick Walton walked out to bat but they got their first big blow when Chris Gayle was bowled out by the Permaul in the very first over.

Then, Sri Lanka batting maestro Kumar Sangakkara joined hand with Walton to steady the inning for their team. Both started playing cautiously and were looking to take the scorecard to a modest total.

But Sangakkara got out off the Permaul ball after scoring 9 runs and then Walton followed him and throws his wicket after scoring only 12 runs.

Then, the pair of Roman Powell and Shakib Al Hasan joined their hand to steady the scoreboard. This pair was playing brilliantly and started building their partnership.

And when things were looking good, Shakib Al Hasib lost his wicket and then the rest of the batsman collapsed. Jamaica Tallawahs got all out for 100-10.

For Guyana Amazon Warrior, Permaul grabbed 3 wickets and the likes of Adam Zampa, Rayad Emrit, and Sohail Tanvir clinched 2 wickets each.

Then, the opening pair of Guyana Amazon Warrior Dwayne Smith and Martin Guptill walked down the crease to chase the modest target of 100.

But both went cheaply by Imad Wasim Bowling. Then Chris Lynn and the Jason Mohammed joined hands to keep the scoreboard ticking. Both were playing brilliantly and then Shakib Al Hasan sent the Jason Mohammed to the pavilion.

Then, Antony Bramble formed another partnership to ensure the victory of Guyana Amazon Warrior in just 18 over.

Veerasammy Permaul was adjudged the man of the Match for his brilliant efforts with the balls.
