In an ill-fated incident, a painter has lost his life on the sets of the Padmavati. According to the reports, a painter named Mukesh Dakia was in the midst of painting in the film city, and suddenly he fell from a considerable amount of height.
The Aarey police official informed media wing that ” “Mukesh Dakia, a resident of Moracha Pada in Aarey Colony, fell from a height of 5 feet on his back. He was taken to the Kokilaben Hospital and was soon declared dead at the time of arrival to the fate.
Kiran Kumar Chavan, DCP (Zone 12) informed media wing that ” we are investigating the case and we will find that how he fell from such big height. If any safety negligence is found, we will deal with it strictly.”
Meanwhile, Amit Ray and Subrata Chakraborty, the Art Directors on the film said that “the set of the Padmavati had been secured with every possible security resources.”
However, there has been no official word from the stars of the show neither from Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone.
