Lenovo has divulged the details regarding its new handset i.e Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus. Company is planning to launch this handset in India on 15th March. Lenovo Vibe K5 is the successor of Vibe K5 and boards features which lies in the mid-range series. Lenovo has confirmed these details by sending the media invites as well. Vibe K5 Plus is announced in MWC which held in Barcelona this February along with Vibe K5.
Coming to the specs of Lenovo Vibe K5 plus then it sports 5” Full HD Display delivering screen resolution up to 920X1080p and pixel density up to 441ppi. It is powered by quad core processor clocked at the frequency of 1.5GHz and quad core processor clocked at the clock frequency of 1.2GHz. The processor will be based on Qualcomm MSM8939V2 Snapdragon 616 chipset and is coupled along with 2GB of RAM. It also incorporates adreno 405 GPU to enhance the graphics. It operates on android 5.1 Lollipop Operating system.
It bears 16GB of storage on the board which can be further expandable up to 32GB with the help of MicroSD card slot. It entails 3MP of rear camera mated along with features like autofocus, LED Flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, Panorama etc. Apart from rear camera we have 5MP of shooter mounted at the front to click selfies and for video calling.
It accommodates connectivity options like wiFi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, A2DP, LE, GPS with A-GPS, Micro USB V2.0, USB on-the-go etc. It houses 2750mAh battery capacity which can power the handset all day long. Along with decent display one gets enhanced audio quality with the help of speakers which are placed at the rear and also supports the dolby atmos technology.
It measures 142 x 71 x 8 mm (5.59 x 2.80 x 0.31 in) in dimension and just weighs 142grams. With just 8mm thickness it becomes one of the slimmest handset. It is a dual SIM smart phone which will be available in color options like champagne gold and Platinum Silver.
Though company has not yet disclosed any details regarding the pricing of the handset but we can expect it to be tagged at the worth of INR 10,200. It also supports 4G LTE connectivity and includes FM radio for the entertainment purpose.
