Man kills sister’s mentally challenged kids in Hyderabad, wanted to relieve her from suffering: In Hyderabad, Mentally challenged twins, were killed by their maternal uncle, because, the maternal uncle wanted to relieve his sister from the hardships of looking post them, On Saturday, police said.

Srijana Reddy and her twin brother Vishnuvardhan Reddy, both 12-years-old, were strangled to death by a man Mallikarjun Reddy at his rented house in the city’s Chaitanyapuri area on the late Friday.

As per the cop said, that the occurrence came to light when the house owner noticed and the accused along with two others trying to put the bodies in his car.

He alerted the police and they arrested Mallikarjun, his friend Venkatrami Reddy and the car driver Vivek Reddy.

In Nalgonda city on Friday, Mallikarjun had brought the children from their home. He had told his sister Lakshmi and brother-in-law Srinivas Reddy that he will teach swimming to the children.

The parents told the police that the twins were mute as well as mentally challenged since birth.

The accused confessed to the crime and said he did not want his sister to suffer from the hardships of looking after the mentally challenged children.

The couple has not lodged a police complaint against Mallikarjun.
