On a Wednesday night, A 13-year old girl was allegedly molested by a man at a village in Manesar. The accused lived in the same locality.
Police said about the alleged person that he attacked the minor at the same time as she was sleeping on the roof.
The minor’s father, who was, reportedly, sleeping with her on the terrace, had gone downstairs to give medicine to his ill wife.
The accused person has allegedly forced himself on her, the police told. Her mother was sleeping in a room of the downstairs.
Police said that the minor’s eight-year-old brother was also with her in the terrace. He was too scared to blow the whistle because the accused attacked his sister, police stated.
On the complaint of the minor’s mother, a case was registered against the accused. He was booked under section 8 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act and was taken into the cell.
In her complaint to the state police, the victim’s mother said that on Wednesday night, she was ill, and decided to sleep in the room, while her husband was sleeping in the terrace.
She said while her husband was briefly downstairs to give medicine to her, they heard their daughter shouting and screaming and rush there to know the situation and to help her.
“We found our daughter crying and in shock. She told us that taking advantage of the darkness, the accused started groping her,” the victim’s mother told police.
Gurugram police said that a case was registered against the accused under Section 8 of the Pocso Act. “ The accused was arrested on the complaint of the victim’s mother. He was produced in court today (Thursday) and was sentenced to judicial custody,” Ravinder Kumar, PRO, Gurugram police, said.
in Mohammadpur, in the Sector 37, On Tuesday, a 38-year old man was arrested for allegedly molesting and raping a 7-year old girl.
The accused, also a neighbor, lured the minor to her room by offering her chocolates then allegedly raped her.
The Police said her mother was at work when the entire incident reportedly took place.
The accused was nabbed and sent to judicial custody.
