India’s largest car maker Maruti company is expecting to launch its mini crossover of the ‘Ignis model’ which will entry into the market by the fourth quarter of year 2016. The company has not yet confirmed any news regarding the model. Maruti is working on its brand new models such as Alto, Swift DZire.
By the year 2020, the Maruti Suzuki company is expecting to launch around 15 models of it. The Ignis is made with high end and advanced technology by the company.
Maruti Suzuki Ignis crossover comes to India with two premium models on its floors which are the Baleno and the S-Cross. The Ignis will be sold through the Nexa dealership across the country.
As per the latest reports on the web suggest that the prices of the Suzuki Ignis are likely to start from Rs 5.5 lakh and could go all the way up to Rs 7.3 lakh. But, we have to wait until the launch of the model to get to know the exact pricing of the Ignis in the Indian market.
Specifications: Suzuki Ignis would be like that it gets a 1.2-litre VTVT petrol engine and a 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel unit.
Maruti is considering 1.0 BoosterJet turbo-petrol engine for the Ignis and could also be available with Automated Manual Transmission box. It will come with all safety features such as ABS with EBD, airbags and hill descent control with a high-end audio system.
