In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old girl was raped by three youths and they also filmed the heinous act and circulated the video clip through the Whatsapp messenger among people at a village in Bhaawanpur police station area, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
This brutal rape incident came to light after the video clip of the gangrape was received by the father of the victim girl through Whatsapp. Then, her father informed the police.
A Police officer said that based on his complaint, a case was registered and the girl sent for medical examination. The police officer also said that a search is on for the accused.
As per the father of the rape victim that the incident took place on 28th February when the girl had gone out for some work.
The police officers said that the accused youths forcefully took her inside the sugarcane fields where they raped her and also filmed the incident.
The officer further added that the accused youths also threatened to kill her if she informed anyone about the incident. Upon questioning by the family members today, the girl narrated her ordeal after which they approached the police.
Meerut Police have started conducting raids to nab the accused, but no arrest has been made so far.
