Airlift is a 2016 Indian war thriller film directed by Raja Krishna Menon, and starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur.The script, written by Raja Krishna Menon developed the idea after studying the whole incident of the war, and which he subsequently expanded.

Story plot is something like that, The film follows Ranjit Katyal (Akshay Kumar), a Kuwait-based businessman, carries out a biggest civil operation ofevacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait war carried out during the reign President Saddam Hussein of Iraq.

This is the film which tells the true story of Indian commercial pilots of which every citizen of the country should feel proud. On Friday, it got 4.50 cr, and on Saturday it got 6.50 cr, and on Sunday 8.26 cr, while on Monday it received 2.53 cr, and on Tuesday it has got 2.61 cr, and on Wednesday it got 2.40 cr, and on Thursday, it received 1.99 cr.
