And, now again his fortune has taken a new twist as he is slammed with the ban for 4 years by the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) as they have overturned the clean cheat that was given by the NADA to Narsingh Yadav.

The WADA appealed against the clean cheat given by the NADA at the CAS. Later, after the four long hours of discussion on between the CAS panel on 18 August’s night , they banned Narsingh Yadav. The official of CAS informs media wing that ” Narsingh Yadav has been found guilty of having an illegal drug, thus he is slapped with the ban of 4 long years that starts from today and that any period of provisional suspension or ineligibility effectively served by the athlete before the entry into force of this award shall be credited against the total period of ineligibility to be served.”

The also added that ” all the prizes, points, medals and results that are obtained from June 25, 2016, must be disqualified”. Meanwhile, the CAS completely ignored the Narsingh’s argument of being a victim of sabotage as they told him that there is no documentary proof that someone else put drugs in his meal.

Narsingh Yadav had faced many obstacles to reach the stage of Rio Olympics. Earlier, he was chosen ahead of the Sushil Kumar to represent at Olympic and Sushil dragged him to the court.

However, Narsingh won the case and was named in the list of the athletes to represent India. Then, on 25 June, he failed the dope test but after some day he brought a new light to his case and shown the world that he is the victim of sabotage. And NADA approved him to join Rio Olympics.

But, now he finally banned for 4 long year and all his hopes have been shattered. Although, it is painful reality but we all have to accept this and move forward.
