Natsamrat earned all critical and loving applauds and became the highest earning Marathi film on Maharastra box office before Sairat took the screens. ‘Natsamrat’ the legend by V.V. Shirwadkar, A Shakespearean drama, a story of Appasaheb Belwalkar, the powerful leader of the scene who came out of the drama but could not get drama out of him. Nana Patekar is in the leading role as Appasaheb Belwalkar and Medha Manjrekar is essaying the character of his wife Kaver.
