Well, reports are coming that world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer company is working way too hard on their upcoming new launch. Sources are saying that Hero MotoCorp Limited (HMCL), on Tuesday unveiled its new premium motorcycle – the Xtreme 200R which is going to be the big next thing for sure. The company is trying to attract young customers with their new bike. The bike will be available on sale in the Indian market from April 2018 in two trims – ABS and non-ABS.
The Hero Xtreme 200R is looking quite good and they are working way too hard on it for sure. Hero Xtreme 200R takes a lot from its prototype/concept model which was showcased at the Auto Expo 2016 as well as from the existing Xtreme Sports. The Based on a new platform, the sports bike gets street-fighter like styling which makes it a rival for the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200.

As per the reports, the bike gets an aggressive and bold appearance, especially from the front which features LED pilot lamps as well. Also, the fuel tank is looking quite big this time and shrouds further provide it with strong shoulders. Also, most of the modern bikes in above 150cc segment are now coming with a fully-digital instrument cluster, the Xtreme 200 continues with a digital-analog console.

Now, if we talk about the features then we can say that Hero Xtreme 200 is a new 200cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which is derived from the company’s 160cc engine. The fuel-injected motor comes mated to a five-speed gearbox and delivers 18.4PS fo power at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 17.1Nm at 6,500rpm. Also, the bike has been claimed to touch 60kmph from the standstill in just 4.6 seconds and attain a top speed of 114kmph.
