In January Nokia introduced its all new Android slate Nokia N1 but this slate was exclusively available for the Chinese market. Company is now planning to move ahead and finally launch this tablet outside China and for this it will start from Taiwan. In an event which was full of music and dance performances, company launched its all new tablet N1 in Taiwan. Company has introduced this handset with the tagline, “Thinking ahead”. This tablet will be available in the Taiwanese market starting from the price of $268 from the starting if the month of May. Company has not made any official statement on when it will return this slate in other regions but we can expect it to happen soon. But one thing is sure that it will not be released in all over the world for example if you are in US and expecting it to be launch there then you may have to be disappointed.
Nokia N1 Specifications
It is a tablet with 7.9” display which will offer the screen resolution of 2048X1536 pixels. It is powered by quad core processor which is clocked at the frequency of 2.3GHz. To have enhanced graphics, it comes up with PowerVR G6430 GPU. The processor is based on 64-bit Intel atom Z3580 chipset and its processor will be coupled with 2GB of internal RAM. It will operate on latest android 5.0 Lolipop out of the box which will be topped by company’s own Z launcher.
It sports 8MP camera at the rear panel which will be coupled with 5MP of secondary camera. Secondary camera can be used to take selfies and to have video chat with family and friends. It bears 32GB of internal memory but one have to be disappointed a bit as there is no room for expandable memory.
As connectivity options it includes WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, USB etc. It houses non-removable 5300mah battery at the rear. It accommodates sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensors and gyroscope sensors. It measures 200.70 x 138.60 x 6.90mm in dimension and will come in Aluminium and Lava Grey Colour. There won’t be any calling feature which may be little dismaying.
