The High command of Congress is planning to reshuffle the party of Telangana unit. Digvijay Singh who is chief secretary of AP affairs is probably replaced with Oommen Chandy who is the former CM of Kerala soon.
According to sources,The Congress President Sonia Gandhi is very upset with the state member of TPCC because of lacking in coordination among senior party leaders and series of electoral defeats.
Earlier, Mrs Sonia Gandhi interacted with senior leaders of party. Sonia Gandhi also hinted at replacing Digvijay Singh followed by a shakeup in the party.
According to sources, the next in-charge of Telangana will be Mr Chandy who was recently defeat in the assembly elections of kerala as CM.
There are many alleged charged on Mr Chandy. He has faced bribery allegations in alleged solar scam case.Vigilance Court of Thrissur directed to registered an FIR against Ooman Chandy and one of his ministers.
After this, he is a loyal Congressman and he has had a long political stint in Kerala state having served as CM twice from 2004 to 2006 and 2011 to 2016.
