Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif asked US, UK to groom India & Pakistani relationship

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif on September 20, 2016, in New York, encouraged the US officials to help him out in improving the relationship between India and Pakistan.

According to the sources, Nawaz was in New York on September 19, 2016, for attending the ongoing 71st UN General Assembly session and there he met US Secretary of State John Kerry.

Nawaz told media wing that ” Pakistan has always been active in fighting against the terrorism and we approached our nearby countries for bringing the peace and stability in our nation.”

Nawaz also pointed that former Us President Bill Clinton promised him for helping him out for resolving the relationship with India. And, now he expects the current US administration will accommodate him in addressing the legal issues between India and Pakistan.

Meanwhile, in this meeting apart from Pakistani Prime Miniter, there were a couple of other Pakistani officials were also present. The names like Syed Tariq Fatemi ( the Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs), Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry (Foreign Secretary) and Sartaj Aziz ( Advisor on Foreign Affairs) marked the there presence in the meeting on Sunday.

Nawaz Sharif also believed that the chemistry between Pakistan and US would help in securing the peace amongst the world and he will be conducting a meeting with the US officials on Wednesday where he will discuss the Kasmir matter there.

Pakistani Prime Minister is also scheduled to carry out a bilateral meeting with the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, President of Iran, Prime Ministers of Britain, Japan, New Zealand, Nepal, Romania.

Well, its looks like Pakistani Prime Minister will walk in the footsteps of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and he is seeking to make a healthy relationship with the other countries like Modi did in last two years.
