Last week a sweet film Piku released which depicts the adorable relationship of father and daughter. Shoojit Sircar’s lovable movie well received by the audiences and did very good business at the box office and collected around Rs. 41 Crore and still going strong. Amitabh Bachchan, Irfan Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer light hearted comedy film is receiving good feedback both critically as well as commercially from people since its release on 8th May, last Friday. Piku Movie Today 9th Day Box Office Collection
With the fantastic opening and mouth publicity, the film collected Rs. 25 crore in its first three days. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film collected Rs. 16.20 crore in its weekdays.
The Film is an out an out Amitabh and Deepika’s film, Irfan Khan is third important person of the film and he connected Kolkata with Delhi in the movie. The film has some comedy and some emotions, which is winning audiences’ hearts.
Piku turned out to win the box office battle, and released of period drama Bombay Velvet does not affect its collection much. Still the film is running gracefully at the box office and it is only released of the year which is witnessing growth in ticket sales.
