PM Modi 22nd Edition Of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Today Highlights

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation through the monthly radio programme ‘Mann ki Baat’ on Sunday – 31st July 2016.

PM Modi called on the nation again to contribute ideas and thoughts thorough the radio programme ‘Man ki Baat’.
PM Modi requested people of the nation to share their ideas for the programme on the MyGov Open Forum. People of the nations can share their voice messages on the toll-free number 1800-3000-7800 which is provided by the Government of India.

Today, This will be the 22nd edition of the radio programme of PM Modi and as usual will be broadcast on the entire network of All India Radio and Doordarshan.

Today, PM Narendra Modi sought ideas from the people of nation about the topics he should focus on during his Independence Day speech through the radio programme ‘Man ki Baat’.

PM Modi said that I am the first Prime Minister of the country born after Independence.I will address the nation on 15th August. I seek your ideas for my address on the occassion of 15th August. Please share them on the MyGov.

PM Modi also added that people can also use the App to wish the athletes representing India at the Rio Olympic Games 2016. He said that he is even willing to be a postman to send the Indian Olympics squad its country’s best wishes.

PM Modi said that Winning or losing is important,it is a part of game. We must give our best wishes to all the sports persons in the Rio Olympic squad and for that, the country’s PM is willing to be your postman.

The PM also announced a new scheme on the radio programme ‘Man ki Baat’ under which pregnant women will get a free medical check-up on the 9th of every month.

PM Modi said that We have started the Prime Minister’s Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, under which a free check-up will be given to pregnant women on the 9th of every month in government health centres.

PM Modi requested that Thousands of doctors have agreed to my request for this, but in a big country like India, lakhs of doctors should join this campaign.

Today, PM Modi expressed his sorrow at the lives lost during floods during this monsoon season in India. PM said that the state governments and the central government are working closely to help the flood-affected people.

The PM mentioned Shilpi Varma who made me aware about cheat and fraud e-mails. PM Modi said that One should be cautious and alert about digital fraud these days.

PM Modi also made a mention of the upcoming festival ‘Raksha bandhan’. PM Modi requested that On Raksha bandhan, you can gift your sisters an insurance policy.

The regional language versions of the radio programme of PM Modi will be aired by All India Radio stations in respective regions in India at 8 pm today.
