Its time for so called “ache din” from our present Prime Minister Narendra Modi beause he is going to launch or unveils the 3 security scheme including ‘JanSuraksha’ schemes in Kolkata on Saturday, targeting the poor and unorganised sector who are neither covered by any form of insurance nor get pension. Later on he has passed Jan Dhan scheme and got huge success under scheme approx 15 crore bank accounts were opened.

Modi to unveils 3 scheme Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the schemes today,” Hasmukh Adhia, financial services secretary with the Finance Ministry. The schemes will be simultaneously launched at 115 places across the country by ministers.

“This will be Narendra Modi’s first visit to West Bengal after becoming Prime Minister and he would announce two insurance and one pension schemes,” Adhia told reporters on Friday.

The insurance schemes are — Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (accident insurance) and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana (life insurance), while the pension scheme has been named after former PM Atal Behari Vajpayee as Atal Pension Yojana, told Dna.

Saturday’s programme wil also be attended by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Governor K N Tripathi and Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha.

About the scheme

Under the accident insurance scheme, any person within the age bracket of 18 to 20 years would be able to join the scheme for which the annual premium amount would be Rs 12 giving a coverage of Rs 2 lakh.

The premium amount for life insurance has been fixed at Rs 330 per annum and age bracket for joining the scheme is 18 years to 50 years with a coverage of Rs two lakh.

Mr Adhia said that the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) would manage the corpus amount and an annual interest rate of 8 per cent has been guaranteed by the government, told profit.ndtv.
