Rakhi talked to media about the matter,

The 37-year-old actress alleged the censor board as to take money from big banners and tease the poor producers. She also added that they openly ask for a price and take random advantage of their place; the people occupying there are really unskilled and illiterate. She even went to Pahlaj Nihalani’s house and pull him down from his chair. She outdares him if he can’t do his job then let her do his job. Without being biased and will not categorize producers according to their banners.”

According to reports, her film was originally granted a U/A but that was later turned out to an ‘A’ which made her furious. Talking about the the latter, she added,

As they refused to give them the amount they asked for they changed the certificate into ‘A’ or simply because Rakhi is in the movie. Maybe they have an issue with the item girl turned into an actress. Even she added she is an Indian daughter and Item girl at least, not a porn star.
Rakhi directly targetted the actress Sunny Leone with her words,

I am not from abroad and not a pornstar. They simply issued U/A certificate to Sunny Leone’s Ek Paheli Leela which had all nudity and obscene content and in her upcoming she even haven’t donned in a short dress. She has been struggling in her career from past 12 years and has no adult content in her movie.

She further continued that she is also asking Bombay high court’s help for the same:

“I am definitely going to teach a lesson to the censor board, I’m going to fight against them, I have already made an appeal to the High Court to take strict action against them following their biased decision. I think the court should take the screening responsibility in their hands and remove the censor board from the country.”
