Zinedine Zidane, the coach of Real Madrid, announced that both Christiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale would not play the Sunday evening’s La Liga game due to some health issues.
According to the sources, Bale sustained a knock a hip, and he is feeling a bit of pain. Meanwhile, Ronaldo who has featured in the two games in last week has caught the minor infection.
Zidane informed media wing that ” Ronaldo has been suffering from a sore throat and he will not be traveling with us as he is staying at the home. We do not want to take any risk with Ronaldo because he is a key player for the team.”
Zidane talked about Bale and told media wing that ” we have to see with Bale as he suffered a hip injury in the last win over Sporting Lisbon in midweek, 2-1 Champions League Group over.”
According to the sources, Gale was substituted in that game and since then he has not been the part of the training on Friday and Saturday. And, this is same with Ronaldo, he also misses all the training session.
Meanwhile, Zidane further added ” it’s exquisite to know that all the player want to play. But, we cannot take any risk with such important players. Both, Gale and Ronaldo are an integral part of Real Madrid team. We are not saying that Sunday’s game is important to us, but we don’t want our core player to do further damage and then, remain out of the side for two weeks.”
Well, there is one thing sure that Real Madrid, Gale, and Ronaldo’s fan must be disappointed after getting this news. But, they must remain patience as there is a lot of matches remain for Real Madrid and they will gonna witness their icon player on the ground.
