The God of Football, Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the Portugal team, and he is back with a bang. Ronaldo returned to play for his team, and within the five minutes of the match, the legendary footballer scored 2 goals and at the end of the game he smashed 4 goals under his belt against the game against the minor Andorra team in the world cup qualifier.
This win was much needed both for Portugal and Ronaldo himself, who made a comeback after suffering a knee injury. On the other side, Portugal lost their last match against the Switzerland in which of course Ronaldo did not play.
On the back of Ronaldo’s four goals, Portugal is now at the third position in the pool B. Meanwhile, in the same match, Ronaldo hit his 42 hat-tricks of his career.
Ronaldo in an after match press conference told media wing that ” I knew that first goal was going to be important in particular against the team whose all 11 players ran after the ball.”
The 32-year-old, legendary footballer further added that” I know I am important, as are all the other players. I have always given everything for the national team; I feel useful, and I’m happy to be back after that injury in the European championship. There are eight games to go, and we want to win all eight to go to the World Cup.”
Well, with Ronaldo back in the side, the Portugal has a long way to go in the 2018 world cup qualifier.
