“God of Cricket” Sachin Tendulkar is to watch the Telugu film Mahesh Babu “Srimanthudu”. The film also features the petite starlet Shruthi Hasaan and the veteran actor Tollywood artist Jagapathi Babu in supporting roles. The huge news is floating round the tinsel town that the producers of the family drama “Srimanthudu”, Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar, C. V. Mohan and Mahesh Babu are arranging special screening for the “master blaster” Sachin Tendulkar.

Although, the exact date and time haven’t been announce and finalized yet. The makers have made all necessary arrangements for the screening right now.
Currently, the makers are waiting to receive the final nod from Sachin Tendulkar; rest of the formalities has been completed. The report says so.
Tendulkar is highly impressed with the story of “Srimanhudu” and he is connecting with the story. He also eventually expressed his wish to watch the movie.
Meanwhile, after release the film “Srimanthudu” is doing very well at the box office. The “Srimanthudu” which is touted as a family drama has not affected in collection much with the release of “Kick 2”.

As per the trade analysts, the film has collected total amount of Rs. 100 Crore world-wide so far. Gradually, the film grossed Rs 156 crore at the box office in 21 days. The film released on 2500 screens around the world on 7th August, with wonderful response. It grossed Rs 101 crore at the box office in its first week.

Eventually, in its second week the film collected Rs 37 crore globally. It faced a huge competition from Ravi Teja starrer “Kick 2” but ultimately, in its third week, the film has beaten the lifetime collection of blockbuster movies like “Shivaji”, “Lingaa” and “Magadheera”. It has been directed by Koratala Siva.
But right now its collection is not increasing like the way it was increasing and seems it will difficult for the movie to break the Shakar’s “I” record.
